About Kirra Williams

Kirra sees mental health as another component of overall health and wellbeing. She is dedicated to providing her clients with the necessary support and guidance to help them achieve and maintain psychological well-being, and well-being in general.

Through her Bachelor of Psychological Science at CQU and Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) at Monash University, coupled with hands-on experience as a psychologist, Kirra ha developed expertise in counselling, administering assessments, delivering relaxation exercises, and assisting clients in building habits for positive changes in their lives. She has worked with individuals of all ages and with various presentations, including anxiety, depression, ASD/ADHD, trauma, and more.

Kirra’s experience working with people from diverse backgrounds has made her a well-rounded and empathetic psychologist, capable of understanding and addressing the unique needs of a wide range of individuals. She enjoys working on tailored therapy with individuals and couples to help them feel confident in tackling life’s challenges and relationships, using informed, evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI) and emotion focused therapy (EFT). Kirra works holistically and maintains honesty in her approach.

Kirra employs a client-centred approach and utilises a variety of evidence-based therapies to assist clients in overcoming their challenges. She believes that building a strong rapport with her clients is essential for achieving positive and impactful outcomes. Her clients describe her as honest, warm, empathetic, and enjoyable to work with.
