Bridget Kosmas
Bridget is a Provisional Psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology from La Trobe University. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, where clients can explore their experiences and challenges without judgment. Bridget takes a collaborative approach to therapy, supporting clients to develop insight, clarify their goals, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
Bridget's clinical interests include but are not limited to; anxiety, depression, workplace difficulties, life transitions, trauma and adjustment disorders, emotion regulation, stress management and self-esteem and identity concerns.
She takes a flexible and integrative approach to therapy sessions, tailoring interventions to each client's individual needs, whilst drawing from evidence-based frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-based approaches.
Using a warm and empathetic style, Bridget seeks to build a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She is committed to providing an inclusive and affirming space, welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds.
