    HOW IT WORKS

    The referral process

    Straightforward from start to finish. No specific forms required. A standard MHTP is sufficient for therapy referrals.

    Prepare your referral

    A standard Mental Health Treatment Plan (Better Access) is sufficient for therapy referrals. For assessment referrals, include a brief clinical history and reason for assessment. No specific form required.

    We contact your patient

    All referred patients are contacted within 1 business day and booked within 1 to 2 weeks.

    You receive a report

    Session 1 clinical summary, session 6 progress note, and full 10 session treatment report. Assessment referrals receive a comprehensive diagnostic report upon completion.

    OUR COMMITMENT

    Clinical communication

    We know that a referral does not end when your patient walks through our door.

    We maintain active communication with referring GPs throughout the treatment episode, and we welcome contact from referring practitioners about complex or unclear presentations.

    If you are unsure whether a patient needs an assessment, a psychiatric referral, or psychological treatment, call us. We are happy to provide a brief clinical consultation before you write the referral.

    Session 1 clinical summary sent to referring GP within 1 week of first appointment.

    Session 6 progress note provided mid-treatment to support review and re-referral decisions.

    Full discharge report at end of treatment episode, including progress summary and clinical recommendations.

    Assessment referrals receive a comprehensive diagnostic report upon completion.
